Acceptable use policy
What you may not do with Dona: use AI to serve people better, never to deceive or bother them.
1. General principle
Dona exists so businesses can serve their customers better. The Service may not be used for illegal, deceptive or abusive activities, or activities that harm third parties, the Service or other customers.
2. Prohibited uses
Sending unsolicited bulk messages (spam), or promotional messages to people who did not consent or opted out.
Impersonating another person or company, or presenting the AI agent as a human when someone asks whether they are talking to a person.
Spreading false information, scams, pyramid schemes, hate speech, harassment, child sexual content or content promoting violence.
Selling or promoting illegal or regulated goods or services without the required licenses (weapons, drugs, prescription medication, unauthorized gambling).
Using the agents to give medical diagnoses, personalized legal or financial advice, or to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people without human review.
Collecting sensitive data or data from minors without a legal basis.
Attempting unauthorized access to systems or data, circumventing limits or security measures, reverse engineering, or overloading the Service.
Using AI model outputs to develop models that compete with our providers, in breach of their usage policies.
3. Transparency with end customers
The Customer must inform its customers that they may be served by an AI assistant, and the agent must acknowledge it when asked. There must always be a way to reach a person at the business.
4. Consequences
If we detect a use contrary to this policy we may pause the affected agent or channel, ask for it to be corrected, and in serious or repeated cases suspend or terminate the Service. Where possible we will notify you first. To report abuse, write to legal@joindona.com.
